We have survived the Flood with Noah and the world now has a new beginning! But so much has changed in this new world that Noah and his family are now entering, and God makes a promise that brings comfort and peace. The rainbow was God’s visible sign of His everlasting promise to never destroy the world by a Flood again. God and us are reminded of that promise every time we see those beautiful colors in the clouds after a storm!
For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you.
